CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

Requirements:
* Polytechnic University (Electronics and Telecommunications preferably)
* 3-5 years experience within a telecom operator – IP/Transmission area
* Proven experience as people manager within IT&C area
* Design and implementation knowledge of transmission networks (PDH, SDH, DWDM)
* Budgeting skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent level of English language
* Coaching skills
* Project management skills (additional certification in this field is considered a bonus)


RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

Role:
Coordinate all activities related to Core and Access transmission teams.
Coordinate all support activities related to design, engineering and implementation of transmission network for 2G/3G and Mobile Plus (Data&ISS) networks according to company forecasts, Technology strategy, Vodafone Technology Networks recommendations, quality of services design principles and business continuity plan.

Key Responsibilities:
o Contribute to transmission network evolution strategy and supervise its implementation rollout
o Core/access transmission links (planning, design and implementation), including international links
o Synchronization network (planning, design and implementation)
• Coordinate and follow up TRS group projects and align them to traffic forecasts analysis, having following inputs:
o Impact analysis (performed by Transport Network Development -TND group) into the transmission network related to all FND projects
o Regular updates of transmission network utilization analysis: used vs. installed capacity in order to dimension it accordingly, as well as proper budget planning for core and access transmission networks
• Coordinate and follow up planning and design activities for access and core transmission networks: define network topology and detailed design and implementation, following short/medium term strategy evolution performed together with TND group
• Supervise and follow up on activities related to transmission network as support of new nodes (CS/PS/IMS or Radio) implementation and integration
• Supervise and follow up updates on transmission network documentation, including Network Disaster Recovery Principles for this area – review their alignment to VTN recommendations
• Setting the goals and performance standards for the group staff in line with the objectives of FND department
• Assign engineering personnel to projects and rollout processes
