| RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
ROLE PURPOSE
Plan, negotiate, communicate and deliver IT Releases covering all IT areas in order to implement integrated software solutions that enhance business value.
ESSENCE OF ROLE- Key Accountabilities
1 Build the team and ensure its high performance through hiring, leadership and performance management.
Assure the right level of technical expertise within the release team
Train and develop a Release Assistant to be ready to take over the Release leadership
Build and maintain a working environment that stimulates high performance.
Organise key processes of the team, establish and deploy resources according to the business needs.
Ensure that the appropriate standards, procedures and guidelines are established and used within the release.
2 Assure the delivery of the IT release in agreed time, cost and quality criteria
Agree the scope, objectives, and the plan of the release phases
Coordinate and manage the day to day activities of the release
Manage change requests on the release: analyze them, evaluate the impact on the release in terms of budget, schedule and quality and the risks associated
Address conflicting priorities within the team and with other departments, at his/her level of authority.
Work with the other Release Managers to balance the content of the releases
Ensure vendor management
Coordinate the core release team, including direct reports and people allocated to release from other IT departments: IT Arhitecture and Demand, IT QA, IT Support and Readiness
Risk Management for the release
Act as escalation point for the issues in the release
Report progress to the IT Development Director and escalate issues and risks to him/her as necessary.
Define the release capacity and communicate it across the company
Create, coordinate and track the release plan;
Ensure complete, effective, consistent and on time progress report for management information
Approve the completion of the release deliverables and agree exceptions as necessary
Implement and oversee effective and appropriate Release Management processes as part of Project Delivery Process
Understand the technical complexities, dependencies & constraints
3 Recommend and execute the budget corresponding to his/her responsibility area Recommend budget for his/her area according to identified business needs, execute and control expenses against the budget and department objectives.
Sign contract and approve expenses within his/her sign authority.
