Requirements:


• University Graduade;
• 1-2 years field related experience;
• Technical competencies: -Circuit switched domain:2G/3G architecture;Voice & signalling topology (interfaces, protocol stack, services);Traffic engineering (Erlang, GoS); 2G/3G specific network elements;Support nodes (SMSC, VMS, IN platforms, PBX, IVR, IP-telephony);ISDN network (interfaces, protocol stack, services) -Packet switched domain:GPRS architecture (role of NE);Packet switched network elements (SGSN, GGSN, PCU) -Transmission network:ATM multiservice nodes;SDH, PDH -Data network:OSI stack;IP (Internet, IP VPN, MPLS);IP addressing ATM, Frame Relay, HDLC, PPP;LAN/WAN network
• Communication skills,Analytical thinking, Good command of English.

The Role:

Perform activities related to engineering/analysis of traffic for GSM/UMTS/Data&ISS network. Translate marketing forecasts into engineering requirements,
analyze traffic behaviour and trends against forecast on medium and log term basis, provide periodical and ad-hoc traffic reports to management.

Key Responsibilities:


• Provide the necessary input for budgetary process by translating marketing forecasts into engineering requirements for additional network capacity and/or functionality.
• Estimate future traffic volumes and implications in the network;
• Make reccomendations for network topology changes in order to optimize the load between different network elements and future required network investments.
• Continuously Analyze Network Traffic and Performance against forecasted values, known patterns and established Network KPI’s.
• Participate and provide the necessary input in the network design and engineering activites ( optimal configuration and capacity for network elements, optimal network topology);
• Provide inputs for periodical updates of Integrated Network Technology Plan (INTP) and Network Disaster Recovery Plan (NDRP).
• Provide inputs for impact assesments of the proposed/scheduled network changes and unplanned outages:-Perform Analysis of possible/registered traffic impact;Make Reccomendations for optimal time frame to be used;Perform post-event traffic analysis and estimate the revenue loss for an outage
• Provide periodical and ad-hoc reports to management regarding network traffic and performance
• Perform/Participate to specific daily activities of Traffic Engineering team.
