Engineer, Solutions Development

• Bachelors’ degree in engineering or computer science;
• CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge;
• 2 to 3 years of experience as solution engineer in the data and/or voice networking industry;
• Knowledge of IP technologies like MPLS VPN, IPSec, VoIP;
• Knowledge of wireless standards in GSM, GPRS/3G;
• Ability to learn new technologies in a fast paced environment and willingness to work for challenging technical solutions opportunities;
• Communication skills (should have excellent verbal and written communication skills).

The Role:

Design, develop and implement the ISS network solutions. Capacity planning and performance management for existing system solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and consultancy to the internal sales team during prospecting phases and following up of strategic customers;
• Design, negotiate and implement scalable, redundant, voice and data network solutions for strategic customers, based on enterprise and carrier class standards;
• Design and implementation of IP routing solutions for the customer networks based on existing Vodafone services;
• Provide technical consultancy for the integration of new Vodafone services with existing customer networks and routing solutions;
