Engineer, Network Support Area

Requirements:
• University graduate [Polytechnics]
• Maintenance/Repair/Reconfigure/Commissioning/Integration of BSS, data, MW and other telecommunication Systems;
• 2-3 years of experience in telecommunication systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent analytical skills
• Well organized and structured person;
• Driving license

Role:
Assures the operation for the desired configuration, in effective conditions in terms of costs, with minimum of interruptions for repair, reconfiguration and testing for reception, of BSS equipment and microwave radio systems, cross-connect equipment, optic fiber equipment, data network equipment or other network components.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assures the permanent operation of the network he/she is responsible for, investigating the possible causes of failure, developing an action plan and solving emergency situations which aims BSS functioning equipment, microwave equipment, optical fiber, cross-connect equipment for data transmission, etc., in time and effectively in terms of costs. Checks the equipment to make sure there are no serious situations that hadn’t been noticed before and reports to OMC / NOC the dysfunctions he/she can not handle all by himself/ herself.
• Assures the operation of the network area at the preset parameters, applying the routine maintenance procedures of site equipment, according to the plan and the guarantee conditions mentioned in the contracts with the suppliers of equipment, by testing, replacement of components etc. Maintains close contact with the OMC/NOC and other departments in order to keep up to date the interested parties concerning the progress of work; resolves any difficulties such as problems related to supply, partial or total replacement, that prevent the success of operations.
• Works in accordance with the specific procedures of work safety, established for the entire company and those established for Net&Sys department he/she belongs to
