Analyst Financial Planning and Analysis

• University graduate (Economic study);
• ACCA will be an asset;
• Excellent knowledge of accounting, on both IFRS and Romanian standards;
• Good knowledge of reporting procedures, budgets preparation, forecast, cost analysis;
• 1 to 3 years job related experience;
• 2 to 4 years field related experience;
• Telecom experience is an advantage;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel is a must);

Role:

• Perform financial planning, reporting and controlling activities for Enterprise Business Unit (EBU), focusing on the specific revenues and costs.
• Participate in developing insightful reports analyzing the business unit performance on the relevant dimensions, as well as providing support for operational efficiency improvements.

• Build high quality EBU budgets based on Vodafone planning cycle: yearly detailed budget, 5 years plan and quarterly forecasts;
• Understand the business dynamics, identify underlying drivers, and develop accurate and flexible models for planning and forecasting EBU specific budget lines;
• Report on EBU budget execution. Analyze actual financial results, explain variances, identifies trends and make recommendations for improving the performance;
• Control that revenues and expenses are accrued according to the IFRS and Vodafone accounting policies;
• Continuously improve the reporting pack that analyzes the business unit performance, identify the most relevant KPIs in line with EBU’s priorities;
• Assist EBU with interpretation and effective use of the financial information;
• Advise on revenue and cost classification
• Create ad-hoc financial analysis, reports or presentation requested by EBU top management team.
