Java Developer with PL/ SQL Experience

Professional Skills
• Completed a master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Hands-on software development track record with at least 2 years experience
• Experience with object-oriented development, Java SE, Java Swing, Java EE, UML
• Experience in database design, Stored Procedures, Oracle PL/SQL
• Knowledge about software engineering methods, patterns, and modeling
• Knowledge in XML, Web Services etc is beneficial

We have a challenging opportunity for an ambitious and motivated software developer, with experience of working with Oracle PL/SQL and Stored Procedures, to join our R&D team, a small group devoted to developing a leading internet based purchase-to-pay solution. Your task as a software developer will be to specify, design and implement new functionality for this system, along with stakeholders and co-workers.

In your work you will need to focus on quality in many dimensions: architecture, usability, performance, stability, etc. We work in small teams on a project basis, using agile methods, e.g. Scrum, collaborating with various other development teams across the international organization.
