Legal assistant and translator

The ideal candidate has graduated Law or Economy University or is in final year student at the University, has knowledge about legal terminology, methods techniques and/or sources of information; has the ability to find, gather and collect information; to monitor or track information or data; to plan, organize and prioritize time and workload in order to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.

Languages: Romanian (mandatory), German (fluent with excellent written German), any other language is an asset.

As personality, s/he must be a person that is structured, open minded, collaborative, friendly, communicative, good interpersonal skills, flexible.

The role of the Legal Assistant is be to provide administrative and translation services to staff attorneys. His/her main responsibilities is: to maintain daily written and spoken communication with German speaking clients, to translate correspondence and legal documents (contracts, legal opinions, agreements, court documents) using German and Romanian languages; to establish, organize and monitor a filing system, to organize information in a clear and concise manner; to assist the staff attorneys to prepare various types of documents, to analyze and/or review data; to maintain document control by tracking and tracing. On the other hand, s/he has to perform administrative duties including translating invoices, basic research, filing, mailings, to conduct legal research for particular issues as assigned by attorneys.
