Software Analysts – Java Developer (code: JD)
Job Description: The candidate must be able to contribute in all phases of the development process, such as building prototypes, design and implement components, as well as improve development practices through disciplined design. The successful candidate must have a track record of developing high quality applications for mission-critical systems. Candidate must be flexible to relocate to Greece.
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of full time Software Development experience in a product company is required, along with a minimum of 2 years on Java.
• Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java/J2EE platforms.
• Object Oriented Analysis and Design
• Excellent knowledge of SQL.
• Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and have attention to detail. Understanding of the application development and deployment life cycle and methodologies is a must.
• Must demonstrate ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment and ability to balance and prioritize activities to ensure critical items are addressed.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Good command of English.
Other Considerations: Preference will be given to candidates, who in addition to the above requirements have the following qualifications
• Experience working with Oracle RDMS
• Use and manipulation of XML documents
• Experience using Eclipse
• Basic Knowledge on Unix scripting
• Work with a J2EE application server
