Unix / Linux Support Engineer - for German speakers

Education:

• University degree (preferably Computer Science)

Technical requirements:

• General technical understanding of software applications
• Unix/Linux configuration and administration skills
• Experienced in Perl and Shell scripting, user, password, and host administration roll out of software

Personal requirements:

• Written and spoken English
• German speaker
• Good analytical and communication skills

The Unix/Linux Support Engineer is responsible for performing the following tasks:

• provide technical support for the users using the application
• solve requests software issues
• document cases for each incident and follow up case status
