CANDIDATUL IDEAL: Our customer, a German based company, is one of Europe’s leading distributors and compounders of thermoplastics. Through its six sales offices in Germany and 16 international subsidiaries the company is serving more than 12.000 customers in Europe, East Asia and North America. Founded in 1961 the company can rely on the vast know how of its 900 employees and acts as a reliable consultant for its customers. It delivers a wide range of nearly every polymer from commodities to engineering resins. Being a distributor for the most important international producers, in 2008 our customer opened its own subsidiary in Transylvania to be able to serve its customers locally. Up to now it acted predominantly in the Western and Northern part of Romania and would like to extend its local presence to the South and East, which includes Bucharest. For this sales region we are looking for a
Sales Engineer
Requirements:
• Studies preferably in a technical or economical field
• Proven track record in sales or purchase of technical plastics
• Very good knowledge of plastics processing
• Very good command of either English or German language
• Computer literacy especially MS Office
• Professional, customer- and result- oriented approach, good negotiation skills.
• Proactive attitude
• Willing to travel
• Driver’s license B
RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII: • Customer- / (Key) Account- Management, which includes regular visits to /contact with the existing customers, presentation of existing and new products, identifying new needs of the customers.
• Find new customers and extend the portfolio in the sales region
• Monitor the plastics market and report the development to the company
• Help developing the sales strategy for the sales region.
• Monitor and keep a good balance between the commercial key indicators: turnover, margin, solvency of the customer
As our customer’s head office is located in Transylvania, you will work from your home office, when not travelling. As Bucharest has the biggest customer potential, being located close to Bucharest would be a plus.
