| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Due to increased market interest in our IP solutions, we are looking for a technical marketing engineer (“TME”) for the IP solutions division, who will be based at our Romanian subsidiary.
He will support the sales teams and the sales processes from the technical standpoint, but may also be required to perform or assist certain sales and marketing activities. All these activities have to be closely coordinated with and agreed upon by the sales force.
Skills / Qualifications:
- university degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering
- fluent in English; knowledge of German is a major advantage
- solid knowledge of digital electronics and hardware design processes and languages (Verilog)
- basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
- good communication and customer interaction skills
- ability to work efficiently without being closely supervised or guided
- willingness to travel abroad for short periods of time (usually no longer then one week)
- knowledge of interfaces and protocols such as USB, SDIO, Ethernet is a plus
- knowledge of Mentor Graphics FPGA design tools (HDL Designer, Modelsim Precision) is a plus
- knowledge of FPGA technologies (Xilinx, Altera, Lattice) is a plus | RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Responsibilities:
- assist the sales team in introducing our IP solutions to potential customers
- collaborate with these potential customers in order to gain a technical perspective on their projects, which will allow him to analyze the feasibility of integrating our IP solutions into their projects
- help / train customers (remotely or on-site) in integrating the IP solutions into their projects
- qualify leads provided by the sales team
- support marketing activities through demos, presentations, publishing of technical articles in relevant magazines, writing of application notes
- maintain solid knowledge of the products developed by our partners, as well as the technologies involved
- maintain basic knowledge about the sales process of the IP solutions division
- stay up-to-date with the market evolutions and trends in this sector
- report regularly on his technical and sales activities to the sales manager and to our partners
