This position will focus on various web programming duties, database development and administration, and server administration and troubleshooting. It requires a hard working, dynamic and forward thinking individual who has a passion for the Internet, proven leadership skills, good command of the English language and constantly strives to improve the user experience through efficient implementation of strategies.

The new developer must have extensive knowledge of how creative concepts are developed and translated into successful fully functional websites. They are also required to have an understanding of common operating systems, servers, database integration, programming, networking, security, internet protocols (TCP/IP) and both graphic and animation integration.
The role of the Web Programmer, in collaboration with a
Web Development team, is to 1) create web programs and utilities using Perl and PHP; 2) design and develop databases, and integrate into existing web systems using PHP/MySQL; 3) administer Linux/Apache servers, including DNS maintenance and troubleshooting/remedies.
