Software Developer

TradeSense is looking for top notch software developers to complement our small and experienced team in building next-generation automatic trading software solutions. You will work in a dynamic environment developing client and server components for electronic trading, order management, execution and risk management systems.
Candidates with the following skills would be advantageous:
• C/C++;
• Object-oriented concepts;
• OS independent development;
• Real-time data processing;
• Good abstraction capabilities and pro-active;
• Innovative;
• Knowledge of software quality processes;
• Experience with software development methodologies;
• Explaining complex IT cases to non specialists.

In addition, the candidate should be able to demonstrate:
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Supportive and commercial attitude;
• Independent problem solving;
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills.


The candidate should be qualified at least at bachelor level (HBO / Academic) in a scientific subject, ideally Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics or similar. You must have tremendous problem solving abilities and be willing to push yourself to the limit when asked to solve problems.

The candidate we are looking for will be responsible for:
• Developing software components in accordance to release planning;
• R&D into new technology, hardware and third-party components;
• Transforming component requirements into software designs;
• Creating work breakdown, size and effort estimates in cooperation with the teams;
• Cooperating with product management, multi-disciplinary development teams and project- and line management;
