Tester / junior web developer

This candidate will have at least 6 months experience in web/php applications, html coding, and mysql. Recommended education for this position is a degree in computer science or web programming. The ability to work on multiple projects and a strong learning curb will determine the candidate’s development in our team. Communication skills in English are a must. TouchMind emphasis teamwork, discipline, autonomy and flexibility.

The ideal candidate has the following skills:

- Good PHP knowledge
- Basic JavaScript knowledge
- Good knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL language
- Good knowledge with web standards, such as XHTML, XML, DHTML, HTTP
- Analytic character
- Strong communication skills in English
- Enthusiasm for work in a start up environment
- Linux administrative skills is a plus
- Smarty knowledge is a plus

The candidate will start as a beta tester of our applications (CMS and home grown CRM) developed in PHP, JS, MySql and Smarty. He will tightly collaborate with our development team while writing test scenarios and learning to know our applications. At the same time he will integrate the development team step by step so that in approximately 6 month he will be an additional developer able to manage bigger modules/projects independently improving our applications.

Our different projects / modules often need to collaborate with each other and thus the team integration/collaboration is part of your daily work. You will experience a close and tight team, which will help you evolve and learn our daily business. From time to time completely independent projects may arise for which we need developers to stand up for and manage.
