Senior Web developer

This candidate will have at least 3 years of work experience in web/php applications, html coding, and database design / mysql coding. Recommended education for this position is a degree in computer science or web programming. The ability to work on multiple projects and a strong learning curb will determine the candidate’s development in our team. Communication skills in English are a must. TouchMind emphasis teamwork, discipline, autonomy and flexibility.

The ideal candidate has the following skills:

- Extensive experience developing web applications, especially the back-end
- Excellent PHP knowledge
- Good JavaScript knowledge
- Expert knowledge of database server and database design
- Thorough knowledge with web standards, such as XHTML, XML, DHTML, HTTP
- Strong communication skills in English
- Enthusiasm for work in a start up environment
- Linux administrative skills is a plus
- Smarty knowledge is a plus

It is very important that Applicant have experience in web development and a strong desire to write quality reusable and modular code. Please present a portfolio of web applications or projects you have worked on.

The candidate will integrate our core team of motivated and experienced engineers, working on TouchMind’s CMS (derivate of Postnuke) and CRM (home grown) products. In a first phase the candidate will be involved in to smaller modifications while learning to know our applications (PHP with Smarty template engine, MYSQL and JS). We expect that in a few weeks, he will be able to manage bigger modules/projects independently and thus help us improve our applications.

Our different projects / modules often need to collaborate with each other and thus the team integration/collaboration is part of your daily work. You will experience a close and tight team, which will help you evolve and learn our daily business. From time to time completely independent projects may arise for which we need developers to stand up for and manage independently.
