CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

Requirements

- 5 years of experience in sales management,
- Ideally, experience of construction, garden, auto tools or similar hardware or DIY products,
- Ideally, experience of supermarket chain product introduction/ sales,
- Very good Excel and reporting skills,
- Good oral and written communication skills with a good command of the English and the Romanian languages,
- Mobile with full driving licence (up to 50% of time travelling outside Bucharest),
- Results orientated, proven and established sales manager,
- Strong time management, organisational and prioritisation skills,
- A clear ability to work independently,
- Professional, responsible, confident and strong personality.


RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

Position Summary

Develops and drives the execution of the sales strategy for the Romanian market including sales to wholesalers and supermarket chains/ retailers. Leads a team of more than ten salespeople.

Responsibilities

- Develops a sales strategy (pricing, discounting policy, promotional activities, sales targets, etc.) for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability,
- Manages a sales team, allocates and plans work between the team members,
- Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects,
- Gathers and analyses relevant market information including data on competitors, prices, product ranges and standard terms and conditions,
- Manages, motivates and develops the team to exceed sales targets,
- Delivers effective business presentations to all levels, negotiates and closes sales opportunities,
- Maintains contact with all major clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction,
- Controls expenses to meet sales budget guidelines,
- Supervises contracts execution and profitability,
- Recruits, trains and introduces new members of the sales team,
- Maintains control of company stock and inventory based on commercial forecast,
- Reports weekly, monthly and on an ad-hoc basis and respond in a timely fashion.
