Your English must be of a good level, as all specification will be made in English. While it would be useful to speak Russian, this is not a requirement.

Prefer if you have previous application testing experience, and have a proven track record of working on your own unsupervised.

You need to work from home, no relocation is required. It is also preferable that you have a fast broadband internet connection in order to have skype chats and do screen sharing. While we would prefer for you to have your own pc, a laptop can be provided.

Depending on the responsibilities we agree upon, you can choose for your ongoing time commitment to average anything between 25-50+ hours per week. While you can choose your working hours, it is preferable that you are online during Moscow working hours to chat with the developers (who start around 10AM Moscow time). We would prefer for you to be doing this role full time, and if you would like more hours, for the right person we could increase responsibilities.

Communication will take place primarily over instant messenger (MSN, Yahoo, Skype, Gtalk, ICQ). Weekly conference calls with developers and your manager will take place over skype. So your having a fast enough connection for skype would be advantageous.

You will be given training, relevant documents, and a handover by the person currently in the role.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Gaining an in-depth understanding of the web infrastructure, customised software toolsets and software applications.
2. Specify changes to the web sites and toolsets in graphical and word form (Using a Project Management system together with Snagit for graphical mock-ups). Communicate these changes to the developers.
3. Update and inform your employer of higher level changes and manage his expectations.
4. Find and report on bugs. Test to ensure that developers fix all bugs. Use advanced scripted software to quickly test large predictive routines.
5. Run routine checks on the sites using automated scripts.
6. Make suggestions on how to improve the tools and web infrastructure further. Think about the users’ experience, and always seek to make it easier and more useful for the user. The user includes web site visiting clients on the front end, or our staff on the back end.
7. Focus on improving visitor and prospect conversion in all forms (these currently include: courses, seminars, newsletter subscriptions, asking questions, sending articles to friends, and of course emailing and perhaps calling - training and reading material will be provided).
8. Possible Project Coordination: primarily of developers, to ensure that deadlines are met and priorities are followed.
