SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (C++)

Education:
Technical study of computer science, informatics, mathematics or electronics or similar.

Requested technical competences:
• Strong C++ skills.
• Ability to read/write technical docs in the French language

The following would be considered significant assets:
• UML design
• STL
• Version control systems, Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest
• ACE (Adaptive Communication Environment)

• French, at least intermediate level

A new team is being assembled to participate in the development of a supervision system for electronic interlocking. The ideal candidates will have the ability to understand the specific requirements of a mission critical system, certified SIL2 according to CENELEC EN 50128 standard.

Job responsibilities include the:
• System/ Subsystem specification
• Architectural design
• Detailed design
• Coding
• Test
• Documentation of the work results
The development will be performed in a professional environment in close co-operation with experts from France. The technical documentation is written in the French language.
Due to high level of abstraction, no railway signalling knowledge is needed to fulfil the responsibilities related to this position.
