Test Engineer

Engineering Degree with specialization in Computer Science, Automation, Telecommunication.

Technical skills:
* good understanding of TCP/IP;
* Software application configuration knowledge;
* Java (JDK 1.4, JSP, JDBC, JSTL) and XML knowledge;
* Basic database and SQL knowledge (MSSQL 2005, MySQL, Derby,Oracle 9i);
* Experience working with the following operating systems: Widows XP, Wondows 2003 server, Linux: Red Hat, Solaris;
* Experience working with the following application servers is a plus: JBoss, SAP NetWeaver, WebLogic, WebSphere.

Other skills:

* Excellent organization skills;
* Fluent in English;
* Proficient in data collection, analysis and presentation;
* Ability to handle sustained stressful situations while maintaining a good communication with the developers.

Experience in a similar role is a plus.

The candidate will be responsible for the tests Definition, Planning, Execution and Reporting.

Key Responsibilities are:

Test Definition:
- Ensure complete and accurate definition of the test scenarios;
- Define the test infrastructure.

Test Planning:
- Organize planning of test activities

Test Execution:
- Execute the described tests;
- Ensure that the test infrastructure is available and maintained.

Reporting:
- Send documentation and the test reports to the stakeholders;
- Feedback to the developers;
- Use of most applicable tools.
