CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

We are looking for an outstanding applicant who can demonstrate the following qualities:

Professional competencies

Education:
- Technical University Degree (e.g. in Computer Science, Electronics, Informatics, Automation Systems or Construction, Master Degree would be a plus)
- At least 3 years proven experience in managing large engineering projects (PMP certification or MBA is a plus but not mandatory)

Requested technical competencies:
- At least 5 years experience in software or hardware development (design or testing)
- Strong knowledge of software processes (e.g.CMMI)
- Knowledge of Project Management Tools
- Knowledge of Configuration and Change Management Tools

Personal competencies
- Proactive attitude (take the challenge)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management abilities
- Problem solver and conflict mediator
- Abilities in managing and moderating meetings
- Abilities to motivate the team

Languages:
- English (fluent)
- German would be a plus


RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

Short task description

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for the planning and execution of large R&D projects, especially for ensuring content, quality, schedule and budget of a project. He leads the project team consisting of Systems Engineering Manager, Development Manager, Integration Test Manager, Quality Assurance Manager and Technical Project Assistant. The TPM is the representative of the project. He/She plans development activities according to the requirements, processes and obtains required resources.
The TPM collects and tracks all information to define the project master plan in the planning phase and to control and lead the project in the executing phase. The TPM assures the integration of the QAM into the project team to allow an efficient quality management support.

- The selected candidates will be part of a competence development program consisting in internal and external trainings, as well as on-the-job training and practice, that will partly take place in Germany (Berlin or Stuttgart).
