Teamleader Embedded Software for Car Systems (availability to relocate in Sibiu)

You have a faculty degree in Electronic, Automatisation, Computing or Telecommunication Engineering or in Computer Science with significant experience in the embedded software field with excellent programming skills in "C".

Ideally you have some years of work experience in the automotive field and you are familiar with some of the following domains:
- Vehicle Communication Protocols(CAN, LIN), Onboard/Offboard Diagnosis, Embedded Operating Systems, Digital signal Processing.
- Knowledge of software development processes and quality assurance
- Knowledge of 16/32 bit embedded microcontroller families (TC17xx desirable)
- Basic Knowledge of sensors and electrical actuators desirable
- Able to read and to understand electrical schematics
- Knowledge in project planning
- Knowledge / experience in electronic field and with electronic equipment
- Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English
- Additional German lanquage skills an advantage
- Analytical thinking
- Team spirit

You will lead our Software Development Team to long term succes, supporting&coaching the team in term of technical issues, effort estimation, delivery time and in delivered quality. For this you will be supported by the management as well as by the quality assurance engineer(s).
According to your experience in embedded microcontroller systems, ideally in the automotive field, you are setting technical standards by developing new system concepts (platform development) and modul development.
In detail:
- Functional and disciplinary leadership of the software team
- Responsible for software project planning such as:
project analysis
estimation of project cost
initial risk estimation
resource planning
project scheduling
contribution in defining software quality goals
- Project monitoring and control:
organize regular project status meetings
prepare project status reports
reviews in cooperation with the software quality assurance
track improvement issues
be a mentor in pllication of the software development processes
