Lead and Coach a team of 12 Quality Managers in Projects (QMPs).
The QMPs are members of the project core team as empowered partner of the PM for quality relevant issues and for the assurance of lessons learned.
They ensure that the necessary quality objectives and safety measures for the projects are identified and noted with respect to all requirements. In case of deviations they have the task to make sure that appropriate corrective actions are taken.
The role of the QMPs includes both managing and quality engineering activities, being responsible in front of the customer for the quality of the product – Airbag Control Unit and ADAS systems during the Product Lifecycle, from the concept (R&D) phase up to the serial production (SOP).
The products within BU PSAD are considered as safety relevant.

The functional R&D areas the QMPs are interfering are Software, Algorithms, Hardware, Mechanical Design and System Testing.

Internal Interfaces: Project Manager, Manufacturing Planner, Focus Factory, Logistics, Supplier Quality Manager, Purchasing

External Interfaces: Customer, External Auditors

Tools and processes: ISO TS 16949, 8D, 5Why, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, Risk Management

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
