| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Technical requirements:
1-3 years of experience in leading a team of developers.
Basic project management knowledge (preferable some experience with Microsoft Project)
Technical knowledge in the fields
Database (Oracle 10, 11)
Unix Scripting (bash, tsh, csh)
C/C++ development (optional)
Java development (optional)
XML technologies (Parsers, XSL - optional)
Database (SQLite - optional)
Non-technical requirements:
Languages:
English (read, write, speak fluently)
German (would be a plus)
Communication skills, both written and verbal

Team description:
The Map Development team is creating and maintaining the tools for generating maps and different types of address information in the internal Conti format used by Navigation, starting from the raw data sent by the suppliers. These involves a multi-step process, conversions and compilation of information from multiple sources, in a multi-project setup.
Job Description:
The Team Leader of the Map Development team needs to organize the daily project work of the team, drive improvement programs, coach, guide and evaluate the team members. He should also have technical knowledge in the relevant fields, to be able to understand project issues. As the projects are run in a multi-site and international environment, he also has to manage communication and reporting to the counterparts and superiors.
