| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Specific qualifications include:
- Minimum of three years of hands on support of PC based systems
- Minimum of two years configuring LAN switches, routers, VPN tunnels and firewalls
- Minimum of three years configuring and maintaining Microsoft’s Windows 2000/2003 Servers
- Specialized training in Network Administration and Microsoft or other relevant certifications; MCSE required
- Experience configuring and maintaining Exchange 2000/2003 a plus
- Experience administering Microsoft SQL or Oracle a plus
- Experience administering Unix environments a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and to adjust priorities as required
- Superior oral and written communication (particularly pertaining to system documentation)
- Excellent technical problem solving ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to function effectively in a team environment
- BE degree
- Off hours support as required | RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
As a Systems Administrator at Synygy (Bucharest office), you will work as a member of the Systems department to develop, manage, support and monitor a rapidly growing and evolving office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide helpdesk support to employees; trouble shooting problems with the network, PCs and printers
- Rollout and maintain user systems (Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP)
- Perform backups
- Inventory control and logging
- Install and configure various software packages under guidance from the corporate office (e.g. SQL, Anti-Virus, remote Control programs)
- Rollout and maintain routers and switches on our data network. Monitor and maintain data/phone lines.
- Setup and monitor Internet and VPN connectivity with remote offices
- Ensure adequate supplies are available
- Phone system support
- Vendor liaison - ensure equipment is shipped or delivered on time, without damage and inventoried. Also deal with local vendors regarding issues. | DESCRIEREA COMPANIEI:
