| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Location: Prague, Czech Republic.
Preferred experience:
* University degree (Computer Science or equivalent experience).
* Solid Unix system experience (a source code level), any flavour of Unix or Linux, Solaris preferably.
* Strong C programming skills.
* Experience of working with open source community (SASL, SER, SMA, IP filter, OSPF/Zebra, etc.)
* Understanding the OSI/Marben stack based products like X.25, CMIP, FTAM, etc. is a plus.
* Debugging and troubleshooting skills and experience.
* Superior written and oral communication skills.
* Willingness to travel if required.
* Active knowledge of English language.

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Location: Prague, Czech Republic.
Job Description:
* Provide source level defect support and resolution for open source technologies shipped by Sun to our end customers.
* Responsible for source code level analysis to diagnose and debug customer reported software defects (bugs) in the Solaris operating environment.
* Responsible for engineering, unit testing and integrating the software solution into patch source code.
* Work closely with the open source community.
* Interaction with other internal teams (New Release Engineering, Quality Assurance and Sun Services).
* Maintain in-depth technical skills together with the ability to resolve complex problems and situations.
* Communicate resolution status and technical details of complex problems via written status reports and telephone conferences to other engineers and managers.
