CIVIL WORKS LEADER

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- manages and co-ordinates the civil works project development out-sourced to external
engineering and consulting Companies.
- co-ordinates the development and monitoring phases of the technical documentation necessary
for tenders issuing, supervising on the technical adequacy and costs optimization and assuring that
it is answering to the Project requirements,
- insures the implementation of the Contract clauses and performs the evaluations to be made
during the offer phase to Client.
- gives the technical support for interface activities with the Client and with the Procurement
and Construction Departments.
- manages and co-ordinates contents and licenses activities.

Staff Responsibilities : Supervising the civil works engineering team

Safety Responsibilities:
- to insure that the safety policy, standards and regulations requirements are implemented through the civil
engineering activities.
- to insure that the activities are performed in compliance with the provisions of the HSE Manual and
related procedures and with the local safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have :
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- minimum 5 years experience in construction sites.

Required Competencies:
The job holder must have proven:
„Ï Experience in implementation of foundations and concrete / steel structures for construction sites;
„Ï Knowledge of International standards for concrete / steel structures building;
„Ï Knowledge of International laws and authorization procedures;
„Ï Good knowledge of the English language;
„Ï Knowledge of the office automation , of application ¡V oriented programs for activities,
time scheduling and civil contracts management.
