Technical Contract Manager Romania

Requirements:
- graduated from a technical university or technical college
- experience with international contracts (FIDIC) necessary
- fluent business English
- experience in the field of projects prefered
- good skills in MS Office, MS Project etc.

Place of Employment:
- based in Bucharest, 50% travelling all over Romania

Job Objectives:
- building an consulting team together with a legal advisor which is supporting the projects concerning contractual aspects starting from the tendering phase until the end of execution
- improving the contractual know how of the commercial and technical site management

Tasks:
- advising and consulting the team in the tendering process, creating risk lists incl. claim potentials
- advising and consulting the project teams during the execution, taking part in progress and claim meetings
- supporting Project Managers concerning claims and contractual questions, following up the change orders, additional works as well as claims in accordance with the established procedure of the contract
- supporting Project Managers concerning subcontracts and contractual negotiations (together with local team leaders and execution manager)
- contact with external lawers, FIDIC specialists and third parties if necessary
- taking part in the common review meeting of the project after completion
- building a claim database about items maybe relevant for all projects, general contract information, checklists etc.
- preparing and producing regular contractual trainings for Project Managers
- reporting to the local Team Leaders and Execution Manager
