Application Engineer

Technical studies in Mechanical Engineering (subject related working experience would be considered a plus)
Fluent English, German and French knowledge would be considered a plus
3D CAD experience (Catia V4/V5, Unigraphics)
2D CAD experience (LOGO CAD)
Finite Elements Calculation (Ansys) knowledge
Previous experience in development of single parts and building groups according to APQP process
Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) knowledge

Additional requirements:
MS-Office group, SAP, Unigraphics, ANSYS, SCIO-FMEA

Open-mindedness, self-confidence, flexibility, customer orientation, innovative mind setting are the main traits of the successful candidate

Key responsibilities:
Undertaking projects for further development of Stabilus gas springs
Conducting the calculation and the constructive designing of single parts
Optimizing existing building groups
Type introduction for prototypes
Product optimizing
Conducting technical application analysis and providing installation proposals
Monitoring competitors’ products
Offering supplier support
Creating and updating FMEA design
