Accountant

• Education: Economics graduate, certified public accountant
• Work experience: at least 3 years, preferably in a multinational environment
• Have good understanding of local tax and custom regulations, as well as banking issues.
• Strong technical knowledge in Accounting and financial requirements in Romania.
• Excellent English skills (written & spoken), strong PC skill is a must, experience of accounting software is essential;
• Able to communicate well with all levels and an ability to work under pressure;

• Organizes accounting books according to Romanian regulations and fiscal laws
• Manages the accounts payable and receivable functions
• Ensures accurate material cost calculation, fixed cost controlling and cost management.
• Prepares financial reports and tax statements according to Romanian legislation, within the legal timeframes (salaries, VAT, profit tax, balance sheet)
• Responsible for invoicing clients based on contracts
• Operates the accounting software and designs management reports
• Cash management
• Coordinates imports
• Good knowledge of International Accountancy Standards
• Reporting to General Manager
