Specification & Test Engineer

Needed Knowledge:
 University Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control or Computer Engineering
 0-7 years of experience in Embedded Software development (automotive preferred)
 Knowledge in the area of embedded software development for real-time systems
 Knowledge of test environment, tools (Matlab, Simulink and it’s an advantage to know INCA, CANalyzer, dSpace/ETAS HIL systems), process and methods
 Knowledge in the area of powertrain (engine or transmission), internal combustion engines or gearboxes is a plus
 Knowledge in the area of software development processes and quality assurance
 Basic knowledge of sensors and electrical actuators desirable
 Medium knowledge of English and/or French
 Driving license is required or will be needed from the first two months on the job

In Powertrain management system and calibration Division, the Specification & Test Engineer will work in a growing and motivated team to develop powertrain engine and transmission software. He will be responsible with one or more of the following (depending on the precise role) in accordance with software development standards:
 Defining the software specification by producing a coherent suite of algorithms for the development of complex powertrain software (engine or transmission).
 Ensuring technical communications with software supplier on software specifications.
 Writing and performing tests cases (manual or automated tests) for software validation on HIL test bench or on real vehicle.
 Maintaining software defect tracking database and follow-up on corrective actions.
 Providing calibrations for various vehicles according to technical system definitions.
 Industrializing the Software and Calibration.
 Writing diagnosis document for after-sale and plants regarding powertrain control system.
 Providing support to the software users (tuning, vehicle engineering teams)
