Sea Freight Manager for an international Forwarding Company
Our client, an international forwarding company is looking for an ambitious Sea Freight manager with proven experience in sea freight. The business is expanding rapidly even in these times, to accommodate this growth an experienced ‘hands-on’ manager is needed.

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sea Freight Manager will manage the whole ‘Sea Freight’ operation with its team in Bucharest. Customer satisfaction, flexibility and ‘getting the job done’ are key for this leadership position. Reporting to the country manager the logistic manager will ensure a dramatic expansion.
Main activities are;
• Managing the sea freight team and ensuring smooth daily operation
• Teaming up with the other departments
• Develop and maintain close relationships with agents worldwide with emphasis on the Far East area.
• Generating additional sea freight business
PROFILE
A well-organised, dynamic manager with at least 5 years proven experience in a sea-freight job, preferably abroad. Has full knowledge on the sea-freight specifics, is able to run the show independently.
REQUIREMENTS
• Higher education
• Fluent in Romanian and English (speaking, reading and writing!!)
• Experience in LCL + FCL
• Commercially strong – good communicator
• Good in administration and reporting but also able to keep head cool in times of chaos
