Calibration Engineer

- Technical university degree (5 years study);
- Able to read and comprehend the calibration certificate of equipment and accreditation documents;
- Advanced technical skills;
- Knowledge of product specification in order to drive the proper calibration;
- Ability to solve practical problems;
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions received in written or verbal;
- Team player;
- Good communication skill;
- Good English level (written/spoken);

- Maintains up-to-date the Calibration database for all equipments which require regular calibration / verification;
- Reviews on a daily basis the Calibration database;
- Performs a monthly inventory of the equipments which require regular calibration / verification in order to have the Calibration database updated;
- Works with Process and Test Engineers for a better monitoring of equipments which require regular calibration / verification;
- Understands and follows up the technical customer requirements during the calibration session;
- Issues the Annually Calibration Schedule for all equipments which require regular calibration / verification;
- Cooperates with Purchasing Department and Logistic Department for organizing the internal and external calibration sessions for all inspection, measuring and test equipments;
- Plans the mains on site calibration session 3 months in advance before calibration is overdue;
- Issue PORs for any calibration 3 weeks in advance before calibration is overdue;
- Coordinates the POR activities (start with issuing the POR, obtaining the necessary signatures and ensuring of placing POs by Purchasing Department);
- Coordinates the activities during the calibration sessions (arrange the areas, equipments needed, facility needs,etc) in order to maintain the calibration session within the planned schedule;
- Applies the proper stickers on the inspection, measuring, test and production equipments according to the requirements defined in the internal procedure;
- Performs an accurate split of the calibrated equipments per customer/accounts from quantity and cost point of view before and after each calibration session;
- Notify the appropriate PMs/AOMs about calibration cost of equipments owned by customer;
- Notifies external calibration providers for production equipments (i.e ICCO, DEK, Fuji etc) with one month in advance about calibration is overdue;
- Maintains up to date the calibration costs in Financial database and makes them available on request;
- Keeps up to date calibration certificates, equipment cards for all equipments which require regular calibration / verification;
- Requests appropriate evidence of accreditation from all calibration providers and keeps them up to date;
- Assists/supports the customer quality audits and answers all technical queries by auditors;
- Contributes to achieving of department goals/targets;
- Improves continuously calibration process;
