Buyer

-University degree (or final year) in economics, engineering
-Minimum 3 - 6 months experience in materials function is preferred
-Preferable a working knowledge of an ERP system
-Fluency in English
-Computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
-Team player with initiative
- Good interpersonal skills: communication, negotiation

·Check open order book and place new orders to suppliers
·Timely escalation of material issues
·Track and action material changes on MRP.
·Develop and understanding the relationship with the supply chain
·Timely action of all Engineering Change Orders changes affecting project/customer
·Stock Turns and Inventory Management.
·Input to Inventory Profiling and Flexibility Modeling
·Supplier Performance on both Delivery and Service
·Support department in charge for timely action of Quarantine Materials
·Timely Action of Non-Receivable items and Invoice Queries
·Insure sign-off of premium buys
