| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Mandatory:
Good experience (2-5 years) in C/C++ programming
Mutithread/Multiprocess programming experience (at least 2 years)
Network programming experience (at least 2 years)
Network protocols knowledge (SMTP, POP3, IMAP, HTTP, FTP)
Knowledge of network security concepts
Basic knowledge of Linux administration
Desirable:
Scripting language knowledge (Perl/Python)
Shell programming knowledge
Kernel-level programming knowledge
Would be a plus:
Experience in commercial software development
Experience in other unix flavors other than Linux: FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris, AIX, etc.

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Understand project requirements and contribute to technical and functional specifications
- Produce high quality software design to meet specification
- Implement functionality to specification, schedule and high quality, ensuring that the functionality integrates into the large-scale solution
- Work closely with technical leads and other engineers within the team to solve cross-component issues
- Help to drive innovation of the design and code to improve its overall quality, reliability and speed of implementation
- Contribute to design reviews to ensure satisfaction of requirements and long-term application quality
- Contribute to code reviews on own and others' code to provide a high-quality, maintable source code base
- Create automated test harnesses to facilitate initial and regression integration testing of the application's software components to established standards
- Highlight any issues that need to be addressed to the relevant development lead
- Adhere to and enforce project standards where appropriate
- Monitor and report on progress and exceptions to the team and management
- Build and maintain an effective relationship with team members, other groups and departments.
