SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER TIMISOARA

- 3 to5 years experience with software testing of automotive electronics components;
- Advanced knowledge of software testing methods and techniques;
- Advanced knowledge of test equipment used for software testing;
- Advanced understanding of product development lifecycle with regard with automotive electronics industry;
- Advanced understanding of HMI specific technologies, communication protocols (CAN, MOST) with their development tools;
- Basic understanding of related design disciplines;
- Good presentation preparation and delivery skills;
- Advanced PC operation (Word, Excel, etc);
- Fluent in English;
- Experience with instrument clusters or Multimedia ECUs;
- German, French or Japanese would be a bonus.

- Test software for automotive embedded systems according to customer requirements and internal procedures and write the corresponding documentation;
- Assist quality assurance in verifying requirements, design, implementation and testing;
- Participate in quotation activities;
- Participate to the project management of large projects by planning and estimating work packages and/or management of small complete projects;
- Evaluate for selection or develop test and development tools from his area of expertise;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of standardized design methods and processes;
- Investigate and keep up to date with latest methods, tools and techniques from his area of expertise.
