Software Quality Engineer for Infotainment and Connectivity (Iasi)

Professional knowledge and skills:
- University degree - preferably Computer Science related degree;
- Basic Programming skills in ANSI C and OOP.
- Knowledge of quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949 ); it would be a plus to be certified as an internal auditor.
- Experience in Quality Assurance (e.g. QA planning, monitoring/controlling and reporting, coaching).
- Good English skills in writing, reading and speaking.

For our Engineering Location Iasi we search for dynamic and motivated people to join our
Infotainment and Connectivity Department.
The specialists in our Interior Division work passionately to keep drivers and passengers informed of their vehicles’ status – and in touch with the world outside – at all times. They develop and produce a wide range of intelligent, user-friendly products for private and commercial vehicles (factory and after sales markets), including instruments and displays, cockpit modules, audio and navigation devices, multimedia and telematics solutions, and control, steering and access protection systems.

Your every day job as a Quality Engineer in the Infotainment and Connectivity department will include the following activities:

- plan quality assurance measures on software project level;
- contribute to the process tailoring within a project (according to its particular needs);
- perform process compliance checks. Record and track to closure all non-conformances identified;
- control the quality status of the project and act on deviations;
- provide Project Management with reliable insights into the process being used by the project and into the quality of the SW product being delivered;
- escalate problems and risks according to the escalation process to Project Management and Development Responsibles;
- Support the project team in preparation for internal and customer assessments/audits;
- Execute internal assessments/audits;
- coach the project team on how to execute the work according to the defined development process;
- support the project team on quality topics;
- contribute to process improvement;

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over your own responsibilities after an initial training phase, which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
