Software Engineer (Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris)

Qualifications:
- 2+ years working experience of C and C++ on Linux or any other Unix-like OS;
- very good understanding of processes, threads, sockets and signals;
- good knowledge of the ANSI (C89), C99 C standards;
- good knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP and POP3;
- good knowledge of: make, gcc, binutils, gdb, dynamic linking, static libraries, shared objects and position independent binaries;
- knowledge of Python;
- basic knowledge of SCons;

Skills required:
- high personal standards and a passion for quality-driven development;
- good knowledge of the English language;
- quick learner;
- self-motivated;

Pluses:
- knowledge of gcc built-ins, function attributes and optimization tricks;
- good assembler knowledge (x86 and x86_64, AT&T or Intel flavors);
- good knowledge of Lua.
