Software Development Engineer C++/Qt

• Electrical Engineering or Software development degree or equivalent through experience
• Practical experience in software development projects (at least 2 yrs)
• Practical experience in C++, UML and Object Oriented Programming
• Qt development knowledge (preferred)
• Windows software development (Visual Studio)
• Good practical knowledge (spoken, written & read) of English
• Strong and loyal teamplayer, autonomous when needed; result oriented, with a sense of time and priorities
Considered a plus:
• Knowledge of Matlab, Simulink or AMESim

You will be involved in the software development within the LMS Imagine.Lab PrePost team. The responsibility of this team is to develop and maintain Pre- and Postprocessing functionality of AMESim, our simulation software for one-dimensional system modeling and analysis. You will cooperate with team members in Brasov as well as in Lyon, France. The function offers you the opportunity to enjoy new technology, challenging assignments and an enriching development process (including Agile development).
The job content includes the following software development activities:
• Analysis & design
• Implementation
• Testing
• Maintenance
While receiving coaching from experienced developers, you will gain a profound experience in programming skills and technologies. You will also develop valuable soft skills. Growth in your job will be accompanied by more activities (e.g. Requirement analysis or Functional specification) and involvement in the more complex development project in PrePost.
