Software Developer in Test

Have you worked as a key player and thought-leader in agile engineering teams spread across continents? We are looking to add a seasoned, highly-motivated Software Engineer to our core platform architecture and engineering team, working on a novel learning real-time relevance engine.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Run and maintain existing integration tests
 Create new functional tests based for the new features
 Create, run and maintain different performance applications
 Test and document deployment procedure

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
 5+ years as a software engineer, including stints in both established and early-stage technology companies
 Solid analytical ability to deal with ambiguity and to solve problems independently
 Ability to clearly communicate concerns about code and collaborate with other developers and program managers to effectively solve software challenges
 High level of personal accountability and “self-starter” attitude in order to make progress in ambiguous situations on schedule
 Java language programming skills (advanced)
 REST web services
 UNIX scripting
 JUnit (Advanced)
 Good understanding of the following concepts: Automated Techniques, Functional, Integration and Regression Testing
 Experience working with Cassandra is a plus
 Hudson knowledge is a plus
 TestNG framework is a plus

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
