Software Developer for embedded Car Systems (availability to relocate in Sibiu)

Requirements:

This position requires enthusiasm and eagerness to work in the embedded software development in Automotive, analytical thinking, good problem solving skills, self motivation, good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

•A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Telecommunication, Automatics or Computer Science;
•Excellent programming skills in ANSI ''C'' or Model Based Software Development skills (control, data and state flow logic);
•Knowledge/experience of embedded microcontrollers (eg. NEC/Freescale);
•Able to understand electrical schematics and work electronic equipmen;
•Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English with good communication abilities;
•Highly organized and detail oriented.

Will be an advantage if you have several years of work experience in the Automotive field and you are familiar with:
•Vehicle Communication Protocols (CAN, LIN), Onboard/Offboard Diagnosis; Embedded Operating Systems, Vector tools knowledge;
•Experience working in Matlab,Simulink and Stateflow (optional) and with production code generators (Targetlink or Real-Time Workshop);
•Software development processes and Quality assurance;
•Knowledge/experience in Electronic field;
•Knowledge of German language is an important advantage.

Job description:

As a member for our Software Development Team in Sibiu you will develop module-oriented solutions for Driver Authorization & Keyless-Go Systems, Control Panel Switches, Electronic Steering Column Locks or Software Platform Systems.

This position requires a direct technical contribution to the development of our embedded software applications and will involve interacting with software project leaders and other developers in order to analyze the customers’ requirements, to develop structured software concepts and designs, to implement and test these applications according to our software development process.

In addition you will contribute and ensure the quality of the software, improve our technical standards, design innovative software solutions and support & coach the new employees.

Marquardt was founded in 1925 in Germany and became an international supplier for automotive components and systems. One of our benchmark is destined for providing complex high-tech electronic vehicle system to worldwide leading vehicle manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Daimler Chrysler, Volkswagen and Porsche. Marquardt invested 6 million Euros for the transfer of a part of its production towards Romanian market in order to expand the capacity of the production unit for electro-mechanic and electronic systems. Our development unit is now also residing in Sibiu, with activities in Software and Hardware development as well as in Mechanical Engineering and Software Validation.
