Software R&D Technical Leader

Requirements:


2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
Good OOP, OOD skills
Good knowledge of C and/or C++ languages.
Comfortable with Linux/UNIX-type OS environment

Short Job Description:
The Software R&D Technical Leader coordinates a team of software engineers throughout the life-cycle of a R&D project. The Software R&D Technical Leader has the following responsibilities:
•Takes the technical decisions in accordance with the relevant technical, product and quality policy of the company;
•Establishes in collaboration with the R&D project manager the project deliverables and the resource allocation;
•Writes and/or monitors the writing by the SW engineers under his responsibility of the high level design documents as well as the software detailed design specifications;
•Is responsible for the code reviews and all actions related to Software Quality assurance and improvements;
•Supervises the advancement of the project, monitors the quality indicators in order to guarantee the project completion under the established deadline and quality level;
•Defines the test strategy and/or writes the test plan, monitors the test plan execution, verifies the test strategy is followed;
•Supervises the process of creating the technical documentation of the project and/or writes the technical documentation.
