Software QA Engineer/ Tester

Basic requirements:
• University degree, preferable in Computer Science or related discipline.

Main skills
• Experience in testing methodologies;
• Experience in working with several O/S environments (Windows, UNIX);
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written);
• Well organized and responsible person;
• Team player;
• Self-motivated and proactive to solve problems and accomplish assignment independently;
• Ability to quickly adapt technical concepts.

Bonus skills :
• Experience in elaborating test plans and test specifications;
• Experience on automated testing tools and scripting languages will be considered an asset;
• General knowledge about programming languages and programming concepts;
• UML knowledge;
• French Language.

The job involves working on a latest, state of the art UML tool, Objecteering (www.objecteering.com).
The successful candidate will:
• Take part in the testing processes of our company;
• Be responsible for the creation and configuration of the test environments;
• Be responsible for the creation of the test plan documents, the acceptance test scenarios (based on the applications functional specifications) and the test data;
• Perform the system tests, regression tests, performance tests, and acceptance tests;
• Create test reports and analyze the test results;
• Create automated tests using automated testing tools when necessary;
• Ensure the high quality of the application releases.
