| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
We look for an experienced Pre Sales & Technical Support Engineer, preferably with a background in Wireless Telecom domain (GSM, UMTS/WCDMA) and in smart card domain which will be employed full time to work only into projects ran by our France partner.
We expect he/she to be a self starter, a fast peace learner, passionate of achieving excellence, with a strong technical background but also with good presentation & communication skills and have a positive can do attitude.
Experience :
- Proven experience in Wireless Telecom domain (GSM, UMTS/WCDMA) and in smart card domain.
- Strong computing background (combination of harware/software).
- Understanding of cryptography (Symmetric, PKI).
- Experience of short term projects.
- Computing : Visual Basic,C,C++,Java,JavaCard
- Foreign languages: English is a must, French is a plus

Pre Sales & Technical Support Engineer Role profile
Department: Mobile Communications Technical Support
Position: Pre Sales & Technical Support Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers for new and existing business, from pre-sales to after sales, through implementation and to final delivery of the smart card product
- Ensure that the business is aware of market trends and is represented in key local forum
Main accountabilities:
- Provide pre-sales technical support to customers on the various solutions offered by systems .
- Analysis of customer requirements.
- Matching customer needs to company product offering (smart cards and services, tools, solutions).
- Javacard STK applet conception, development and validation.
- Generating test cards.
- Formulating and Providing Smart card training to customers.
- Translating customer requirements into internal documentation for use by other departments within .
- Validating the output from other departments.
- Provide a link between the regional forces and the customer.
- Developing software tools for Smart Card expertise.
- Ensuring local representation and participation business forums/professional bodies within the local sector.
Subordinate activities
- Assistance for answering “call for tenders”
- Assistance for Customer Complaint Analysis Report (CCAR) technical expertise
- Assistance to the “customer service” department for order fulfilment.
Relationships:
- Internal relationship : Mobile Communications marketing , sales forces, Perso center, Customer Service
- External relationship : Wireless operators, Technical Support from other regions
