ACCOUNTING MANAGER FOR LEADING MULTINATIONAL COMPANY

• Strong accounting background gradually achieved in various positions, preferably in large companies
• Proven experience in a Accounting Manager/ Chief Accountant position with team coordination responsibilities, preferably in a multinational company with production activities
• University degree with economic/ financial/ accounting profile
• Certified accountant- CECCAR; ACCA membership is considered an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of Romanian specific legislation
• Knowledge of International Accounting Standards
• Leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Traceable record of individual results
• Analytic skills
• Experienced in using SAP (or at least a similar ERP program)
• Fluent spoken and written English is a must

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing the company's accounting activities and team with an obligation to ensure that accounting system and practices are in line both with all statutory legislation and regulations and company’s policies
• Ensuring the correct recording of company transactions in accordance with local laws and regulations, company’s policies and procedures; responsible for the accurate booking and monitoring of the AP, AR and GL transactions
• Ensuring the proper treasury operation
• Follow up the receivable and the debtors
• Monitoring monthly reports issued by the headquarter
• Producing accurate accounting reports to specific deadlines
• Liaising with auditors to ensure periodic monitoring is carried out
• Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations
• Providing and interpreting accounting information; providing support to the overall management of company’s tax planning, accounting, filing, and reporting process
• Supervising, coaching and developing the coordinated team
• Keeping abreast of changes in specific regulations and legislation
