Supplier Quality Engineer (Timisoara)

6 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management Systems and / or cross-functional experience gained in technical functions in the Automotive- or Supplier Industry
Degree in technical studies
English – advanced
Automotive Quality Standards knowledge – advanced
Manufacturing process knowledge – advanced
Negotiation knowledge – advanced
Quality tools and methods (SPC, MSA, 8D, Reliability, DOE, FMEA, FTA, etc) – advanced

For our Engineering Location Timisoara we search for dynamic and motivated people to join our Supplier Quality Management (SQM) department.

SQM introduces and maintains supplier quality assurance measurements and activities to ensure the requested quality of the supplied parts and services;
Contributes to reach the SV and local business and quality targets and to optimize the efficiency of the purchasing, quality and logistic processes;

What does it mean to be a Supplier Quality Engineer in our team:

Functional responsibility for the defined parts, services, commodities and suppliers;
Support concerning specific quality items over all locations, cross divisional and over all business units;
Plan and conduct supplier evaluations and assessments to support the cross-functional supplier selection team with the required quality data;
Plan, initiate and control preventive orientated, advanced quality management measures in the design / development phase (supplier APQP) for supplied parts and services (Feasibility Commitment, Project Reviews, Run & Rate, Safe Launch Concept, Quality Control Plan etc.) to ensure that our products meet the defined quality requirements;
Initiate, lead and drive supplier improvement programs;

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
