Software Developer for Commercial Vehicles Instrument Clusters (Timisoara)

University Degree (i.e. Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science)
Advanced knowledge of C programming language
Basic knowledge of microcontrollers
Basic knowledge in understanding HW schematics and in using measurement equipments
Automotive experience is an advantage
Fluent English

In our days a truck it is a network of intelligent devices, controlling different parts of the truck. The instrument cluster communicates with all the other devices and provides information to the driver, being the main interface with the driver. This is why we are constantly challenged to develop simple to use but complex (as number of functionalities) instrument clusters.
Do you want to know how the steering wheel buttons are handled? Or how the information from Radio/Phone/Navigation is received and displayed on the Instrument Cluster dot matrix display? We are dealing with FJ32 microcontrollers, emulators, dot matrix displays, segmented displays, sound generation, analog and digital inputs, EEPROM/ Flash memories.

As an embedded software development engineer your responsibilities you will be to:
Develop software in C based on given requirements and specification;
Integrate, emulate and test the created code
Cooperate with an international development team and customers

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
