For our Production location Timisoara we search for dynamic and motivated people to join our Strategic Purchasing department.

Purchasing ensures the procurement of goods for the Siemens VDO Production location in Timisoara. Purchasing contributes to Siemens VDO's competitiveness by employing the full potential of the best suppliers.

Ensure procurement for electronic materials in order to fulfill in time and according with technical specification the requirements of internal customers by establishing an excellent supply base with the optimal terms of delivery and costs.
Negotiates terms / conclusion of contracts to guarantee certainty of supply with the best terms for electronic materials; Follow-up and permanent contact with the preferred suppliers in order to ensure the acquisition in time; Support internal customers for all needed information regarding provision of materials, purchasing process optimization and constraints; Reports on the controlling of defined information and figures to make results transparent and control purchasing activities on a results oriented basis; Support of local purchasing topics for market analysis and localization efforts.

Frequently used tools: MS Outlook, MS Office, SAP, SV Tools
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
