Modelling and Simulation Engineer (Timisoara)

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or comparable
Some years experience on HW-Simulation or CAD-based HW-Development
Knowledge about embedded Systems
Experience with HW-simulation (Spice, Saber, VHDL or similar)
Programming experience
Ability to abstract complex circuitries to a system-theoretical level
System theoretical and mathematical skills
Fluency in English

For our Engineering Location Timisoara we search for dynamic and motivated people to join our Powertrain Electronics and Drivetrain department.

We were the first supplier to develop a marketable piezo injection system for diesel engines, offering major benefits in terms of precision and efficiency. This groundbreaking technology is now being applied to gasoline engines, and we are once again up with the frontrunners

We deliver control unit solutions consisting of hardware and software for engines and all contemporary types of transmissions. Automatic or continuously variable, dual clutch, transfer case, or differential drive: whatever the application, we offer control solutions to cover every requirement.

As a member of our team you will be responsible with the development, verification and documentation of simulation models for HW- and system-simulation. These simulation models will be placed in a special library and will be used for performing complex system-simulations already in early HW-development-phases.

You will elaborate laboratory-characterisation of Hardware
You will develop analog and digital simulation models (structural or behavioural) for different simulation tools like 'Saber', 'Simplorer' and 'PSpice'
You will verify and test simulation models
You will prepare documentation of simulation models according to guidelines
