Experienced Embedded Software Developer for Drivetrain Control (IASI)

University Degree in Electrical, Control or Computer Engineering
At least 3 years experience in a relevant field for embedded SW development
Programming language: ANSI C
Microcontroller know-how
Software development methods and processes (CMM, CMMI)
Project planning know-how
General technical understanding, e.g. reading and understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, understanding of controls
Knowledge in area of embedded software development for real-time systems
Knowledge in area of quality assurance
Basic knowledge of sensors and electrical actuators
Knowledgeable in the setup and usage of an oscilloscope and voltmeter
Attention to detail, especially for documentation accuracy
Willingness to travel abroad on business trips when necessary
Good command of English
German is of advantage

As a member of our team you will focus on:
development of embedded software in interdisciplinary project teams at international level in the field Automated Transmission and/or Transfer Case
follow company standards and the software development process in conducting software development
software development for 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers in ANSI C
clarification of requirements with the customer
development of software concepts and specifications
performing software design and implementing software modules
specification, execution and documentation of software tests
error analysis
gradually taking over more and more project responsibility
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
